Terms & Conditions

Fast Car Carrier is one of Australia’s top providers for local and interstate car transportation. We work with dependable Australian carriers and use various transport methods to move vehicles across the country. Our deep understanding of the industry, strong collaborations, and wide service range make us a highly competitive name in vehicle logistics. Our easy-to-use online booking platform is available round the clock for your convenience. We are committed to offering trustworthy, efficient, and customer-friendly vehicle transportation. There are no hidden charges or complicated processes — just smooth service from start to finish.

Terms of Service

We depend on the information you provide during the booking process. All vehicles must meet the following conditions:

  • The vehicle must be in running condition with working brakes, handbrake, and windows.
  • There should be no existing damage or loose/broken parts.
  • The minimum ground clearance must be 150 mm (15 cm).
  • The weight of the vehicle must not go beyond 3 tonnes.
  • The fuel tank should be at least one-quarter full (a refueling fee may apply if the car runs out of fuel during transit).

Note: If your vehicle does not meet the above criteria, kindly get in touch with us before booking.

Standard Vehicle Dimensions

The typical size limits for vehicles are mentioned below:

For Cars/Sedans:

  1. Maximum Length: 5.1 meters
  2. Maximum Width: 2 meters
  3. Maximum Height: 1.65 meters

For Light Commercial Vehicles, 4WDs, or SUVs:

  1. Maximum Length: 5.2 meters
  2. Maximum Width: 2 meters

  3. Maximum Height: 1.9 meters

Note: If your vehicle's size is outside of the above-mentioned measurements, then a custom price quote will be needed. You can also get in touch with our support team for help. Please make sure to measure the vehicle from its tallest or widest points — such as roof racks, mirror ends (even when folded), bull bars, tow bars, etc.

Personal Belongings Inside the Vehicle

If the ‘Goods in Vehicle’ option is not selected at the time of booking, your vehicle must be completely empty. There are some transport routes where carrying items inside the vehicle is not permitted. In such cases, the option to include personal items will not be available.
The maximum allowed weight for items inside the vehicle is 80 kg. Items should not block or cover the windows, and nothing should be placed on the floor behind the driver's seat or on either of the front seats. We do not take responsibility for any loss or damage to the vehicle or the belongings inside due to the presence of goods. Extra charges may apply if these guidelines are not followed.
If a vehicle is loaded beyond the allowed limit or does not meet the mentioned goods policy, additional fees will be charged.

What Is Considered an Empty Vehicle?

Even if the following items are inside, a vehicle is still considered empty:

  • Spare wheel
  • Jack
  • Tool kit (that originally comes with the vehicle)
  • Installed child seats or booster seats

Estimated Transit Duration

The provided pickup dates and estimated delivery times are only approximate and are based on business days, not including weekends or public holidays. These timelines can vary depending on busy seasons, delays, weather conditions, freight availability, and the pickup or delivery location. Transit time begins from the next business day after your vehicle is either picked up or dropped off at a depot. Fast Car Carrier does not promise exact pickup or delivery dates. Please avoid scheduling trips, events, or appointments based on estimated delivery times.

Collection of vehicle(s) from the Doorstep

For metro area pickups, please allow at least three business days from the date you choose. For regional or remote areas, or where a driver meet is arranged, longer wait times may occur due to freight availability. For updates, feel free to reach out to our support team.
Note: Requesting a specific pickup date while booking does not guarantee collection on that day. We will confirm a tentative pickup window with your nominated contact one business day prior to pickup.
Reminder: If our team arrives to collect your vehicle but is unable to do so due to non-compliance with the booking terms, a futile trip fee may be charged.

Collection of vehicle(s) from the Depot Location

If you have opted to drop your vehicle off at one of our depots, it must be picked up within two business days after it arrives at the destination depot. Storage charges may apply for any delays beyond this time frame.

Collection from an Auction House

Vehicles to be picked up from an auction house must be operable and free of damage. If the vehicle invoice indicates "write-off" or if the vehicle is damaged, the service will need to be re-quoted as the prices listed on our website do not account for written-off or damaged vehicles. This information must be provided to us before making a booking. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of the service, with applicable futile and cancellation fees. Additionally, once a booking is confirmed, all necessary documentation must be provided for the collection from the auction house. It is the customer’s responsibility to supply the required documents to enable us to arrange the collection. For more details, please reach out to our customer support team.
Note: A futile fee may be charged if we attempt to collect the vehicle but are unable to do so due to non-compliance with the booking terms.

Modifying a Booking

Any requests to modify a booking must be submitted in writing to info@fastcarcarrier.com.au Changes to a booking may incur additional charges. Please contact our Customer Service Team for more information.

Cancelling a Booking

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@fastcarcarrier.com.au. A cancellation fee of $200 per booking will apply. Refunds may take up to 10 business days to process. If cancellation requests are not made in writing, or if the cancellation is within 48 hours of the scheduled collection or after a carrier has been dispatched, a futile fee will apply in addition to the cancellation fee. Furthermore, if a vehicle has been assigned space for transport (planned load) and the booking is cancelled, the full booking amount may be forfeited.

Vehicle Damage

Fast Car Carrier does not hold an Australian Financial Services License and, in line with the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), Fast Car Carrier does not provide or arrange any insurance for the goods or vehicles in its service. This includes any loss or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle or damage resulting from these items, which is fully at your own risk. By using our service, you acknowledge that Fast Car Carrier acts as your agent to secure the best possible price and service for you. The carrier offers an accidental transit warranty if they are found to be at fault for damaging your vehicle during transport. Fast Car Carrier and the carriers are not liable for any damage caused due to inaccurate information provided by the customer, such as incorrect details about the vehicle’s ground clearance or dimensions. Any claim must be submitted in writing to info@fastcarcarrier.com.au within 24 hours of vehicle collection. All claims will incur an excess charge of $800. No repairs can be conducted without the written consent of the carrier. Carriers do not cover damage caused by factors beyond their control, such as pre-existing damage, hidden defects, weather-related damage, airborne objects, insect harm, bird or bat droppings, scratches, or general wear and tear. Carriers do not cover vehicles that are already damaged or non-operational under any circumstances. Vehicles over 30 years old and/or with a market value exceeding $80,000 are not covered. Additionally, vehicles with lower than standard ground clearance are excluded from coverage. For this reason, we strongly recommend securing your own transit insurance. Moreover, the carrier is not responsible for any damage to windows, tires, rims, hidden defects, mechanical or electrical issues, or malfunctions that may occur during transport. The carrier is also not liable for any loss or damage related to a Force Majeure Event. A "Force Majeure Event" refers to any event beyond the reasonable control of the parties involved, which may cause delays or prevent the complete or partial fulfillment of any obligations. Such events include, but are not limited to, fire, flood, drought, hail, storms, earthquakes, wildlife impacts, natural disasters, air or sea hazards, explosions, sabotage, embargoes, pandemics, accidents, theft, road or rail closures, breakdowns, rail derailments, delays at wharfs, quarantine measures, labor disputes, terrorism, civil unrest, acts of war, or the actions or omissions of third parties or public authorities. Additionally, carriers are not liable for any indirect, special, or consequential losses, including, but not limited to, lost profits, loss of business, financial loss, costs for hire vehicles, or any other economic damage, regardless of whether such losses were foreseeable or known to be possible.

Our Role

By using our services, you acknowledge that Fast Car Carrier acts as your representative to secure the best pricing and services for you. You understand that Fast Car Carrier may not be directly involved in transporting your vehicle. It is the carrier who is responsible for transporting your vehicle, not Fast Car Carrier. By agreeing to use our service, you accept the carrier's terms and conditions and acknowledge that if any damage occurs, the carrier will manage the situation.

Privacy of Personal Information

Personal Information refers to any details or opinions, whether true or false, that can identify a person or be reasonably linked to them, including data stored in a database. We collect personal information to run our business and provide you with the services we offer.

Disclosure of Information

Fast Car Carrier will not disclose any personal information to external parties or organizations, except when necessary to fulfill the services or products you have requested, or when required by law. This may include sharing information with legal authorities, law enforcement, or government bodies. Otherwise, Fast Car Carrier will not release personal data without your consent.

Access and Modification of Personal Data

Only the individual(s) whose information is provided can access or modify their personal details. To request such changes, a written request along with proper identification will be required.

Security

While Fast Car Carrier takes reasonable steps to safeguard your personal information, please be aware that sharing information over the Internet carries inherent risks. We cannot guarantee that data exchanged online is fully secure.
